This elevated monorail circles Wolmido on a loop of a few kilometers, giving views of the harbor, container ships, the Incheon Bridge and the cranes at the port. The cabins run slowly enough for photographs, and the ride lasts a little under an hour including the loop. Your ticket usually lets you get off at one station and board again later, which works well for visiting the island's park or culture street.

It is an easy outing for children and anyone who dislikes walking. Fares are modest and vary between weekdays and weekends. Service can pause in poor weather, and the line is closed on Mondays.

Check the latest schedule before you go.
