Sorae Wetland Ecological Park 소래습지생태공원
Incheon · Sorae Port & Incheon Grand Park · Parks & nature
A former salt-works revived as a wetland park, this area spreads out beside the tidal creek with boardwalks, reeds and shallow pools. Three red windmills stand in the grass, forming a favorite photo backdrop, and birds visit the mudflats, especially in migration seasons. You can follow paths around the edge or ride on the small salt-field train if it is running.
Spring and autumn bring the best light and comfortable temperatures. On windy days, the open flats can feel exposed. It is an easy half-day walk and feels very different from the busy port nearby.
Programs and facilities change by season, and some require advance booking.
Walk from Sorae Pogu Station (소래포구역) on the Suin-Bundang Line, about 15 minutes. (Show a driver: 소래습지생태공원)
