Sorae Port 소래포구
Incheon · Sorae Port & Incheon Grand Park · Shopping

Once a salt-farm and fishing hamlet, Sorae is now the best-known traditional fishing port near Seoul. Boats tie up along the quay, and stalls sell crabs, shrimp, shellfish and fish by weight. You can buy at the market and eat upstairs, or just watch the unloading and sample a few snacks.
The mood is noisy, salty and bargain-minded, and fixed prices are not guaranteed, so ask and compare. Autumn brings blue crab and shrimp, and spring is for small octopus. Weekends fill up, so arrive early.
Mind the smell if you are sensitive to fish. Prices vary by season and day, and hours differ from stall to stall.
Take the Suin-Bundang Line to Sorae Pogu Station (소래포구역) and use Exit 1. (Show a driver: 소래포구)
