Brown Hands Gaehangro 브라운핸즈 개항로

Incheon · Open Port District & Wolmido · Cafe

CafeCafes & vibesPhoto spotsIndoor

A former ear, nose and throat clinic in the open-port district now serves coffee while preserving the bones of the old building. Peeling paint, concrete stairs and the clinic's layout were kept in place, so each floor feels different, from bright upstairs rooms to darker lower corners. It is a well-known example of how Incheon reuses old buildings instead of replacing them.

Weekends bring photographers and long waits, while weekday mornings are quiet. Seating can be limited and the stairs are steep, so it is less suited to people with mobility concerns. Prices and hours may change, so check before heading over.
