Woljeonggyo Bridge 월정교
Gyeongju · Daereungwon, Hwangnidan-gil & Downtown · Night view
Spanning the Namcheon stream, this timber bridge is a modern reconstruction of a Silla-era crossing, complete with a roofed passage that glows after dark. Strolling across takes only a few minutes, but the real draw is the reflection on calm water, which is best seen from the stream bank below the bridge. In the evening, couples and photographers line the embankment while tour groups mostly disappear.
The bridge is free to walk across, and there are benches nearby for a pause. On windy nights the reflection breaks up, so choose a still evening if photos matter to you.
It is a 3-minute walk from Gyochon Hanok Village and about 15 minutes from Cheomseongdae Observatory. Gyochon has a public parking lot. (Show a driver: 월정교)
