Gyeryong Reservoir 계룡저수지
Gongju · Gyeryongsan: Gapsa & Donghaksa · Parks & nature

A reservoir with the ridge of Gyeryongsan as its backdrop, reached along the road between the temples and the town. It is not a destination in itself but a simple, scenic stop, ideal for a short walk or a few photographs while you drive. At sunset the water takes on warm colors, and the mountain outline reflects clearly on calm days.
There is no fee and few facilities, so bring water. It works well as a pause between two temple visits or on the way back toward town. A car or taxi is the practical way to arrive, and you can be done in about forty minutes.
By car or taxi, about 25 minutes from Gongju. Roadside parking. (Show a driver: 계룡저수지)
