Korea Natural History Museum 한국자연사박물관
Gongju · Gyeryongsan: Gapsa & Donghaksa · Museums & exhibits

A privately run natural history museum with large dinosaur skeletons and fossils, a good indoor plan for rainy days with children. The displays aim at younger visitors, with big reconstructed bones, models and hands-on spots, and it takes around an hour and a half to see everything. Entrance is charged, with discounts for children.
Labels are largely in Korean, but the visuals carry the exhibits. It is a short drive from the Donghaksa area, so it combines easily with the temple or the valley. A car or taxi is the practical way to reach it.
Parking is on site. Check the opening hours online, since they may change in the off-season.
