Geumgang Singwan Park 금강신관공원
Gongju · Geum River & Sinkwan-dong · Parks & nature
A broad riverside park on the north bank of the Geum River, facing the fortress across the water. In the evening, the walls of Gongsanseong are lit, and the park gives the whole view in one frame. It also serves as the main stage during the Baekje Cultural Festival, a large autumn event whose venue and dates change by year.
The park has lawns, paths and a walkway along the river, so it suits strolling, picnics and cycling. Entry is free. Facilities include benches and restrooms.
Plan one hour, or more if you linger for the lights.
It is a 10-minute walk from Gongju Intercity Bus Terminal. City buses run from the old town; free parking is available. (Show a driver: 금강신관공원)
