Unaksan Suspension Bridge 운악산출렁다리

Gapyeong · Jojong, Hyeonri & Myeongjisan · Sights

SightsFun & activitiesNature & parksPhoto spotsOutdoor

A wobbling suspension bridge strung across a gorge on Unaksan, with a see-through grid floor that makes the drop easy to see. If heights bother you, hold the rail and keep your eyes ahead. Hats and sunglasses can blow off in the wind, so keep them secure.

It is free to cross, and the approach is a moderate walk from the trailhead, so wear proper shoes and avoid windy days or the hour after rain. Views over the rocky ridge and surrounding forest are the reward, and fall colors are the strongest draw.

Getting there

Start from the trailhead car park in Unak-ri, Jojong-myeon; parking may charge a fee. Public transport is thin, so use a taxi or car. (Show a driver: 운악산출렁다리)
