Sacheonjin Beach & Port 사천진해변·사천항
Gangneung · Jumunjin, Yeongok & Sacheon · Parks & nature
A small fishing harbor with a curving breakwater and a rocky islet that makes a striking sunrise silhouette. The beach is narrow, uncrowded and welcoming, with cafes dotted along the shore and a relaxed rhythm that suits a slow morning. At the harbor you can watch boats come in and nets being mended.
It is also close to a well-known coffee house, so the stop pairs well with a hand-drip. Facilities are limited. The sunrise view needs a very early start.
From Gangneung Station (강릉역) it is about 25 minutes by taxi, or take a bus toward Jumunjin and get off at Sacheon (사천). Parking is limited.
