Suseongmot Lake 수성못
Daegu · Suseongmot & Deulan-gil · Parks & nature
Suseongmot is a lake in a residential neighborhood, ringed by a roughly two-kilometer walking path that fills with joggers, couples and families from morning to night. Duck boats float on the water, restaurants and bakery cafes line the edge, and in the warmer months a musical fountain performs in the evening. In early April the cherry blossoms along the shore make it one of the best places in the city for spring photos.
It is not dramatic scenery, but it is a lovely place to slow down at sunset. Entry is free, and the loop takes about 40 minutes at a stroll.
Take Subway Line 3 to Suseongmot Station and walk about ten minutes. Public lots around the lake fill up on weekends. (Show a driver: 수성못)
