At the mouth of Gosangol valley on Apsan, a free park stands life-size dinosaur models among trees, giving small children something to point at while adults walk the creek trail beyond. The figures are not museum-grade, but kids love the roars and the chance to run on the open lawn. A shaded path continues up the valley for those who want a short hike.

Picnic tables and benches are provided. It works best as a half-hour stop attached to a longer day, and it is lovely in summer shade. There is little food on site, so bring water and snacks.

Getting there

Subway Line 1 to Yeongdae Hospital Station, then about a 15-minute walk; a public lot sits at the park entrance. (Show a driver: 고산골공룡공원)
