Apsan Sunset Observatory 앞산해넘이전망대
Daegu · Apsan & Daemyeong-dong · Parks & nature
Set above a small park known as Apsan Laundry Place, this circular tower is named for the sunset it faces, and it is one of the better places to watch the sun slide behind the hills on the west of the basin. It is much less crowded than the main observatory, with parking right beside it, so it suits older travelers or anyone who wants a gentle viewpoint without a climb. Benches and a flat platform make it good for casual photos.
Cafes along the ring road are nearby. On cold evenings dress warmly, and bring a snack to enjoy while watching the sky.
Take Subway Line 1 to Anjirang Station and walk 20 minutes, or ride a local bus to the Apsan Laundry stop. A park lot is next to the tower. (Show a driver: 앞산해넘이전망대)
