Nakdonggang Victory Memorial Hall — Daegu Apsan & Daemyeong-dong

This memorial hall covers the 1950 battle along the Nakdong River line, where Korean and United Nations troops held the Pusan Perimeter against the northern advance. Rooms hold weapons, uniforms, letters, maps and short films, and outdoor displays include tanks and artillery. It is a modest but moving stop, and entry is free.

Signs are mainly in Korean, with some English captions, so a translation app helps. Because it stands next to the cable car station, visitors often pop in while waiting in line. Take it quietly, as it commemorates serious loss, and let children know the context beforehand.
