Apsan Park Observatory 앞산공원전망대
Daegu · Apsan & Daemyeong-dong · Night view
From this lookout on the slopes of Apsan, the whole Daegu basin spreads out below, ringed by mountains and dotted with apartment towers and bridges. It is the city's most popular spot for night views and for watching sunset blend into city lights. A paved path leads to the viewing deck from the cable car station, and a hiking trail from the foot of the mountain takes roughly an hour.
Benches and rails make it easy for older visitors. Wear a jacket after dark, because the wind picks up at height. Photography tends to work best with a small tripod or steady hand.
From the upper cable car station it is a ten-minute walk; hikers can climb from the Apsan Park lot in about an hour. Taxis can also drive part of the way. (Show a driver: 앞산공원전망대)
