Sille Story Trail 실레이야기길
Chuncheon · Kim Yu-jeong & Gangchon · Parks & nature
A set of walking paths around the village at the foot of Geumbyeongsan, with sixteen themed stops tied to scenes in Kim Yu-jeong's stories. The terrain is earth trail and gentle slopes, so comfortable shoes are important, and the walking time varies from forty minutes to two hours depending on the loop you choose. Even if you have not read the stories, the quiet fields and woods make for a nice countryside stroll.
Early spring brings yellow ginger-tree flowers, and summer brings thick shade. The trail is free and can be combined with a visit to the literary village. Signs are mostly in Korean, so a map app helps.
Paths start behind Kim Yu-jeong Literary Village, five minutes' walk from Gimyujeong Station; parking is at the village. (Show a driver: 실레이야기길)
