Dadaepo Beach and Sunset Fountain 다대포해수욕장·낙조분수
Busan · Nampo-dong, Jagalchi & Yeongdo · Parks & nature
Dadaepo is a very wide, shallow beach at the western end of the city where the Nakdong River meets the sea, and at low tide the sand flats stretch far into the shallows. It is known for sunsets, when the sky turns orange over the water and silhouetted fishing boats hang on the horizon. In the evenings, a large musical fountain beside the beach plays water and light shows during the warm season.
The ground is soft and wet in places, so bring shoes you do not mind getting dirty. Dadaepo is far from the center, so give yourself time for the ride. Show times and seasons change, so confirm locally.
Dadaepo Beach Station (다대포해수욕장역), Line 1, then walk about 5 minutes to the sand. (Show a driver: 다대포해수욕장)
