Yongdusan, or Dragon Head Mountain, is a small hill in the middle of Nampo, and a park crowns it with a flower clock, a statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and the slender Busan Tower. The tower has a paid observation deck, and the lit-up view of the harbor, the islands and the old port makes a good first or last stop. The park itself is free, and its benches draw residents in the afternoon.

Escalators and stairs make the climb easy. Opening times and tower admission may change, and the view can be hazy on cloudy days.

Getting there

Nampo Station (남포역), Line 1, then a walk through Gwangbok-ro to the escalators that climb the hill. (Show a driver: 용두산공원)
