Taejongdae Park and Danubi Train 태종대·다누비열차
Busan · Nampo-dong, Jagalchi & Yeongdo · Parks & nature
Taejongdae occupies the southern tip of Yeongdo Island and is a rugged, forested headland with cliffs falling to the sea. A loop road wraps around the park, and the Danubi tourist train runs the circuit with stops at the lighthouse, a viewing area and a scenic rock called Sinseon. You can ride the train or walk some sections, since the road has gentle gradients.
The lighthouse and the cliff-edge views are the highlight, while the rocky shoreline lets you peer into the water below. The park is free to enter, with a fee for the train. Check seasonal hours and winds before you go.
From Nampo Station (남포역), Line 1, or Busan Station, take a city bus for about 30 to 40 minutes toward Taejongdae; ask a map app for the current route. (Show a driver: 태종대)
