Huinnyeoul Culture Village 흰여울문화마을
Busan · Nampo-dong, Jagalchi & Yeongdo · Sights
Huinnyeoul sits on a cliff on the west side of Yeongdo Island, a village of narrow alleys that looks straight out to open sea. Its name comes from white waves that spill down the cliff in a way that resembles a waterfall. A coastal trail runs below along the shore with benches, rocks and views of passing ships, and above it small cafes, shops and murals line the lanes.
Films and TV dramas have used it as a setting, which draws many photographers. Come in the morning for gentler light and fewer visitors. The route is hilly and windy.
Cafe hours vary.
From Nampo Station (남포역), Line 1, take a city bus such as 7 or 71 for about 15 minutes toward Yeongdo. (Show a driver: 흰여울문화마을)
