BIFF Square is the old heart of the Busan International Film Festival, and the pavement still carries hand-prints and signatures of film stars. The street is now better known for its food stalls, especially ssiat hotteok, a hot pancake filled with brown sugar and then topped with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and nuts. Lines can be long in the afternoon, but they move at a good pace.

Alongside are street snacks, clothing shops and small cafes. The street is lively until late in the evening and busiest at weekends. Prices for snacks change, and some stalls close earlier than others, so go before dinner.

Getting there

Nampo Station (남포역), Line 1, then walk about 5 minutes into the pedestrian streets. (Show a driver: BIFF광장)
