Boryeong Lake 보령호
Boryeong · Boryeong Downtown, Seongjusan & Gaehwa · Parks & nature

A large reservoir created by the Boryeong Dam, set among low hills south of the city. The main way to enjoy it is by driving or cycling the road that follows the water, stopping at viewpoints for photos. In clear weather the surface reflects the surrounding hills, and in early morning mist can hang over the water.
The area is quiet, with only a few small shops and restaurants nearby. A car is practically required. Bring your own drinks and snacks, and avoid litter.
Getting there
By car only, roughly 40 minutes from Boryeong city; taxis may be hard to find for the return. (Show a driver: 보령호)
