Boryeong Central Market 보령중앙시장
Boryeong · Boryeong Downtown, Seongjusan & Gaehwa · Shopping

A traditional market in the middle of Boryeong city, easy to reach from Daecheon Station on foot. Stalls sell vegetables, dried fish, rice cakes, banchan side dishes and household goods, and a few small restaurants serve noodles and fried food. It is not a tourist market, so prices are straightforward and shopkeepers are used to local shoppers.
For visitors it offers a glimpse of everyday life outside the beach resort area, and it is a good place to buy snacks to take on a train. Cash is helpful at some stalls, although many accept cards. Allow about an hour to wander.
It is a walk of roughly 15 to 20 minutes from Daecheon Station, or a short taxi ride. City buses also stop nearby. (Show a driver: 보령중앙시장)
