Nongam Jongtaek & Gasong-ri — Andong Dosan Seowon & Yekki Village
Photo: Korea Tourism Organization (KOGL)

This clan house of the Joseon official and poet Yi Hyeon-bo sits between a sheer cliff and the upper Nakdong. The original place was submerged by the dam, so descendants rebuilt it here over several years. The scenery is the highlight: a rocky bluff, a sandy river bend and a pavilion.

Hanok lodging is available, so some travelers spend a night listening to the river. Roads are narrow in parts, so drive slowly. Allow an hour.

Entry rules vary, so check on site.
