A 1,000-meter floating bridge across Andong Lake that rises and falls with the water level, so the footing sways a little. The lake covers the old county of Yean, flooded when the dam was built in the 1970s, and signs along the way recall the vanished village. On a clear day you look across open water to the surrounding hills, and sunset turns the surface orange.
It can be windy, so bring a light jacket. Walking one way and back takes under an hour. There is no entrance fee, and it connects directly with Yekki Village.
