Dongmyeong Port 동명항
Sokcho · Jungang Market & Dongmyeong · Sights
This small harbor sits right by the rocky point, and fishing boats rock gently at their moorings. It is less crowded than Daepo, so the mood is calm: nets drying on the quay, anglers on the breakwater and the occasional gull. Walk the quay for a short, easy stroll, and enjoy the light at sunrise or late afternoon.
A few cafes and eateries are nearby, and many people combine the harbor with the pavilion and lighthouse above. The harbor is a working area, so mind vehicles and ropes. Facilities are limited, and rules may change.
A short taxi ride or bus from the Express Bus Terminal, about 10 minutes. Parking is available near the harbor. (Show a driver: 동명항)
