Climb a short set of steps above the sea pavilion and you reach a small lighthouse viewpoint with a broad outlook over the harbor and coast. The observation deck is open and breezy, and the view includes fishing boats, the harbor wall and the long line of the beach to the south. After sunset the lighthouse beam turns on, and the area feels peaceful.
It is free to visit, but access and opening times can change, so check signs. The steps are steep, so wear comfortable shoes. Allow around 30 minutes, longer if you wait for the light.
