Lotte World Aquarium sits in the basement of Lotte World Mall and holds tanks of sea creatures from around the world. Its highlight is a large tank with a tunnel where sharks and rays pass overhead, along with a beluga whale exhibit that is popular with children. Other halls show penguins, jellyfish and river fish.
Because it is indoors, it works in any weather. Combined tickets with Seoul Sky are sometimes sold, so ask at the counter or online. Opening hours, prices and exhibits may change, and some feeding shows run on a schedule.
Jamsil Station (잠실역), Lines 2 and 8, Exit 1 or 2, connects to the mall; look for the aquarium sign in the lower level.
