Oseongje Reservoir 오성제 저수지
Jeonju · Wanju Day Trips: Soyang & Samnye · Parks & nature
Oseongje is a quiet reservoir in the hills of Wanju, best known for a single pine tree standing at the water's edge, which became a photo spot after a famous K-pop group shot images there. The shoreline is simple, with a small path and views over water and hills. There is no entry fee, and visitors come mostly for sunset, when the water turns gold.
Facilities are basic, so bring water and plan to combine with a cafe stop. The site is small, so allow about 40 minutes.
The reservoir is in Wanju's Soyang area, about 40 minutes from Jeonju by car or taxi. Buses are infrequent, so book a round-trip taxi. (Show a driver: 오성제 저수지)
