This tea museum sits within rows of green tea fields in the island's south-west, and it is where visitors learn the story of Jeju tea over a cup of something warm. The fields are free to walk, with short paths and viewpoints that look brightest after rain. The shop sells tea sets, matcha sweets and green tea ice cream, and the cafe serves green tea lattes and cakes.

Inside there is a small exhibit on tea culture, with some English signs, though the cafe menu may only be in Korean. Buses often arrive in the morning, so aim to be there at opening for photos without crowds. Hours are not fixed all year, so verify before setting out.

Getting there

It is about 50 minutes by car from Jeju Airport, with a free parking lot by the museum. Buses to the area stop at the Seogwang tea fields, and a taxi is useful for the last stretch. (Show a driver: 오설록 티뮤지엄)
