Jeongseojin 정서진
Incheon · Bupyeong, Gyeyang & Cheongna · Night view

At the western end of the Ara Waterway, this lookout area was named as the point due west of Seoul's Gwanghwamun, a deliberate echo of Jeongdongjin on the east coast. A pebble-shaped sunset bell sculpture frames the sun at the right moment, and walking paths, a ferry pier and a sea-facing promenade give people places to wait for it. Sunset events attract photographers, and clear days bring the best color.
Gusts off the water can be strong, so bring a layer. There are few facilities beyond a few cafes and rest areas. Reaching it needs a taxi or a bus with a short walk.
