Eurwangni Beach 을왕리해수욕장
Incheon · Yeongjong & Muuido Islands · Parks & nature

Only a short drive from the airport, this wide sandy beach on Yeongjong's west side is where travelers on layovers and locals alike come for sea air. The Yellow Sea has strong tides, so at low water you see a broad flat stretch, and at high tide the waves come close to the promenade. Sunsets over the water are the main attraction, and the road behind the beach is lined with seafood restaurants and cafes.
Summer brings swimmers and beach-goers, while winter is quiet and windy. Facilities are simple. A walk takes about an hour and a half with time to sit.
Water quality, services and opening times may change, so check the season's notices.
From the airport, take AREX to Unseo Station (운서역) and continue by bus or taxi, about 20 minutes. (Show a driver: 을왕리해수욕장)
