Gueup Ferry Terminal 구읍뱃터
Incheon · Yeongjong & Muuido Islands · Sights
This old landing on the east side of Yeongjong was once the island's main gateway. Today it is a seaside strip with fish restaurants, grilled shellfish stalls and cafes, and ferries to Wolmido run on a set schedule. The view across the water takes in the harbor, the Incheon Bridge and, at dusk, the lights of Wolmido.
Gulls follow ferries, and visitors throw snacks for them, so watch your food. It feels laid-back and local, unlike the airport-area resorts. Plan on about fifty minutes.
Ferry timetables, fares and hours may change, so check before planning a route. Food prices vary, and the narrow road can be crowded at weekends.
Take a bus or taxi from Incheon Airport or Unseo Station (운서역), about 20 minutes. (Show a driver: 구읍뱃터)
