Yugu Rainbow Hydrangea Garden 유구색동수국정원
Gongju · Magoksa & Yugu · Parks & nature

A long garden of hydrangeas in many colors stretched along a stream in the town of Yugu, with a festival held around peak bloom in mid-June. The flowers run for a long distance beside the water, so the full walk, there and back, takes more time than it first looks. Entry is free.
Weekends are crowded and the midday sun is harsh, so a weekday morning is much more comfortable, and a hat helps. Outside June there is little to see, so time the trip with the season. A taxi or car is the practical way to reach it, since buses from Gongju are infrequent.
A taxi or car from Gongju takes about 40 minutes; limited buses. Parking at the garden. (Show a driver: 유구색동수국정원)
