Petite France — Gapyeong Seorak & Cheongpyeong Lakeside
Photo: Korea Tourism Organization (KOGL)

A hillside village built as a French-style cultural complex, with pastel buildings, a small museum of music boxes, a puppet theatre and photo corners themed on The Little Prince. Stairs link the levels, so strollers can be awkward. Music box demonstrations and small performances run at set hours, so check the daily schedule when you enter.

Seasonal flower events add color in spring, and winter brings festive lighting. Admission may change. It is among the most visited places in the area, so crowds build on weekend afternoons, and a morning visit is calmer.

Getting there

It is about 20 minutes by car from Gapyeong or Cheongpyeong Station; a local tour or circulation bus is said to pass nearby, but routes change, so check. (Show a driver: 쁘띠프랑스)
