Yumyeongsan National Recreation Forest 국립유명산자연휴양림

A national forest on Yumyeongsan with shaded trails, a valley stream and campsites. It is a favorite for hikers and overnight stays, and camping or cabin lodging is booked only through the national forest reservation system, which you can use in English if you create an account. The car park fills early in peak season.
Day trips are inexpensive, and a map at the entrance helps hikers choose a loop. Start early and be down before dark. The valley is much cooler than the lowlands in summer.
