This is a small village of traditional Korean houses built on the slope next to Juknokwon, and several of the buildings are named after real pavilions you can visit elsewhere in the county. Walking through the courtyards gives you a quick preview of the garden-and-pavilion style before you drive out to the originals. There are guest rooms in some of the hanok and workshops that vary through the year, so check what is running before you come.

Come with comfortable shoes, since the paths slope and the stone steps are uneven. Because staff are few, it is better to confirm opening details by phone or through your hotel in advance.

Getting there

It is on Jukhyang Culture Road at the rear gate of Juknokwon, reached on foot from the rear-gate parking lot. If you are sleeping here, tell the host your arrival time in advance. (Show a driver: 죽향문화체험마을)
