Sambat Makguksu (Main) 샘밭막국수 본점

MealFood & marketsIndoor

The flagship of a noodle restaurant that has opened branches in Seoul and the capital region, this Sinbuk-eup shop is a large room that fills with families and tour groups. The signature order is the mixed cold buckwheat noodles with a side of steamed dumplings or sliced pork. Even when a long queue seems to be forming outside, tables turn over fast, and the wait rarely feels as long as it looks.

A good fit for families, with a spacious dining hall and parking. Staff are efficient, English is limited, and a picture menu helps. Prices and hours can change, and weekends are busier than weekdays.

Getting there

A city bus toward Soyang Dam from Chuncheon Station takes about 20 minutes to the Sinsaembat-ro area; the shop has its own car park. (Show a driver: 샘밭막국수 본점)
