Chuncheon Makguksu Experience Museum 춘천막국수체험박물관
Chuncheon · Soyang Dam & Cheongpyeongsa · Fun & activities

At this museum in Sinbuk-eup, visitors learn how buckwheat is turned into makguksu, from mixing the dough to pressing out the noodles, and then eat their own bowl. Exhibits explain the history of buckwheat in Gangwon Province, and a hands-on workshop makes it a hit with kids and curious adults. Experience sessions are scheduled, so check times and book where possible.
There is a modest fee for the program. It is a good rainy-day activity, takes about an hour and keeps small hands busy. English instruction may be limited, but the steps are simple to copy.
Hours and prices may change with the season.
