Soyang Dam Water Culture Hall 소양강댐물문화관
Chuncheon · Soyang Dam & Cheongpyeongsa · Museums & exhibits
This small exhibition hall near the top of the dam explains, with models, film and photos, how Soyang Dam was designed and built, and how it supplies water and controls floods. It is free to enter, quiet and a fit for visitors who like engineering stories or children who enjoy models. Explanations are mostly in Korean, but the visual material is easy to follow.
Because it is right by the ferry pier area, it is an easy way to use a gap before a boat. There is usually little queue, and it takes about forty minutes. Opening days and hours may differ in winter.

It is a few minutes' walk from the parking lot at the dam crest, near the bus terminal; from Chuncheon Station the bus takes about 30 minutes. (Show a driver: 소양강댐물문화관)
