This large cafe sits right by Uiam Lake west of the station and is built around its views of the water and, in the distance, the Legoland island. Big windows, a roomy terrace and several floors mean you can usually find a seat even on busy weekends. The menu covers coffee, tea, bakery items and desserts, and drinks are priced a little higher than average.
Locals visit in the late afternoon and for sunsets, when the lake turns copper. It is a good waiting spot before a train or a Legoland trip. Opening hours and menus may change, and the walk from the station is along a road rather than a scenic path.
