Cheongsapo is a tiny fishing village on the east side of Haeundae. From the harbor, a short pier-like skywalk with a glass floor reaches out over the water toward a red and a white lighthouse standing in the sea. Above the village, Dalmaji-gil is a ridge road lined with galleries, restaurants and cafes, and in early April cherry blossoms arch over it.

Walking the road gives different angles on the bay from every bend. Come with comfortable shoes, because the road climbs, and expect the skywalk to be closed in bad weather. Opening hours may change.

Getting there

Haeundae Station (해운대역), Line 2, then a taxi of about 10 minutes, or ride the beach train to Cheongsapo Station of Blueline Park. (Show a driver: 청사포)

Best time to visit
Late afternoon into sunset, or early April when the road is lined with blossom.
Pair it with
Haeundae Blueline Park Beach Train and Sky Capsule stops at Cheongsapo, and Bibibidang Traditional Tea House is on the Dalmaji ridge above.
Great for
Couples, Solo travelers
Local tip
The glass-floored skywalk is free but closes in strong wind or rain. Dalmaji-gil is a hillside road, so a taxi up and a walk down is easiest.
