Andong Culture Street 안동 문화의거리
Andong · Downtown & Old Market · Sights
Locals meet here rather than tourists, and that is exactly its appeal. This pedestrian street holds clothing stores, snack bars, small cafes and a plaza where pop-up events appear on weekends and during festivals. There is no famous landmark to tick off, only a view of ordinary Andong life, and the signs light up cheerfully at night.
Bakeries, including Mammoth Bakery (Mammoseu Jegwa), make it a good stop for sweets before the train. It lies between Jjimdak Alley and Ungbu Park, so many visitors pass through without planning to. Festival season brings food booths.
Shops accept cards, though street snacks may prefer cash.
Walk five minutes from Jjimdak Alley or Ungbu Park. Buses and taxis from the KTX station take about 15 minutes. (Show a driver: 안동 문화의거리)
