Ungbu Park 웅부공원
Andong · Downtown & Old Market · Sights

Sitting in the middle of the old town, this small park marks the former office compound of the Joseon-era Andong magistrate. Rebuilt gatehouse and residence buildings stand on a lawn, and you can climb the pavilion for a view over tiled roofs. A full loop takes about half an hour, so it fits between meals.
After dark the wooden buildings are lit, giving a soft evening walk right after jjimdak. It lacks big attractions, but benches and shade make it a pleasant pause in a day of walking and eating. Entry is free.
English signs may be limited, and the museum next door adds more context.
It is a ten-minute walk from Jjimdak Alley; a city bus or taxi from the KTX station takes about 15 minutes. (Show a driver: 웅부공원)
