Geumodo Biryeongil Cliff Trail 금오도 비렁길
Yeosu · Southern Islands & Coast · Parks & nature

Biryeongil means cliff path, and on Geumodo it winds along sea cliffs with views of rocky coves, pine trees and islands. Reaching the island requires a ferry from Sinki Port on Dolsan, and ferry times and wind cancellations affect your plans, so check before you go. Route one, from Hamgumi to Dumo, is the best known, and a full route takes several hours.
Wear hiking shoes, bring water and snacks, and keep to marked paths near the cliffs. Fares and the trail fees are modest and may change. Plan to be back for the last ferry.
A car or taxi on the island helps cover distances.
Take a taxi or car to Sinki Port on Dolsan, then ferry to Geumodo; the voyage takes roughly 25 minutes. (Show a driver: 신기항)
