Ungcheon Waterside Park 웅천친수공원
Yeosu · Soho & Ungcheon · Parks & nature

A broad park on the Ungcheon waterfront with lawns, a curved artificial beach and walking paths along the shore. It is flat and open, which suits strollers and slow walkers, and it is free to enter. In summer, children play on the sand and in the shallow water; at other times, families picnic and cyclists ride along the promenade.
Cafes and restaurants line the nearby streets in the new town. Shade is scarce, so bring sun protection. Evenings are pleasant, with sea breezes and lights along the path.
Facilities such as restrooms are provided, and lifeguards are on duty only in the summer swimming season.
It is a 20 minute taxi ride from downtown Yeosu, in the Ungcheon new town. (Show a driver: 웅천친수공원)
