Museulmok Beach — Yeosu Dolsan Island & Hyangiram
Photo: Korea Tourism Organization (KOGL)

A pebble beach on Dolsan Island where the water drags round stones back and forth with a rattling sound that gives the beach its name. The cove is small and calm, with views of nearby islets, and it sits where Admiral Yi is said to have lured Japanese ships during the Imjin War. A quiet bench and a short seaside path make it a good place to slow down.

It is free and rarely crowded outside summer. Swimming is not the focus, since the stones are hard on bare feet. Cafes and a sculpture garden are close by.

Bring water, as shops are sparse.

Getting there

It is on the Dolsan coast road; a taxi from downtown takes about 25 minutes. (Show a driver: 무슬목해변)
