Yeonmyeong Beach 연명해변
Tongyeong · Sanyang Coast & Dalah Park · Parks & nature
Yeonmyeong is a small quiet beach beside a fishing village, right next to the pier where island cruises depart. Do not expect resort facilities; it is a place for a short walk along the sand and for watching small boats. It is handy if you have to wait for a cruise departure.
Entry is free, and leashed dogs are generally tolerated outdoors. Swimming is possible in summer but there are few services, so be careful with currents and look for any posted notices. A couple of small cafes and restaurants are nearby in the village.
Sunset light here is warm and low, which makes photos easy, so linger if the weather is clear.
It is next to the cruise pier at Yeonmyeong, about 25 minutes by taxi from the old town. (Show a driver: 연명해변)
