Dalah Park 달아공원
Tongyeong · Sanyang Coast & Dalah Park · Night view
Dalah Park is a viewing platform at the end of the Sanyang coastal road, and its name is associated with the rising moon. It is widely considered the best sunset point in Tongyeong, because dozens of small islands lie scattered across the water and turn dark gray against the glowing sky. A short paved path leads to several viewpoints, and parking is free.
It can be crowded just before sunset, so arrive about an hour early. Winds are strong, so bring a jacket even in summer. Reaching it without a car is awkward, so a taxi or rental car is the practical choice.
Check the sunset time first, because the light fades quickly afterward.
Take a taxi or drive along the Sanyang coastal road, about 30 to 40 minutes from the old town; buses are infrequent. (Show a driver: 달아공원)
