Seoullo 7017 서울로7017
Seoul · Myeongdong & Namsan · Night view
Seoullo 7017 is a former highway overpass beside Seoul Station that has been turned into an elevated walkway planted with trees and flowers. The name refers to the year it was built, 1970, and the 2017 reopening, and the 17 paths that connect to the street below. A stroll takes about half an hour, with views of the station and the old city wall.
At night the walkway and the flowers are lit, and cafes and small shops open along the way. It is a convenient place to rest between train connections or to see the city center without much effort. Shops and cafes may close on certain days.
Facilities and event hours may change.
Seoul Station (서울역), Lines 1 and 4 and the Airport Railroad, has a direct stairway to the walkway. Hoehyeon Station (회현역), Line 4, is also close.
